Spanish false friend
introducir doesn’t mean “to introduce (a person)”
It actually means to insert, to put in.
The trap
Saying 'te voy a introducir a mi madre' is technically grammatical but sounds clinical — like she's a USB stick. Use 'presentar' for people.
Example
Introduce la moneda en la máquina.
Insert the coin into the machine.
So how do you say “to introduce (a person)” in Spanish?
Use presentar.
