imperative

Sentence

Commands. Affirmative tú commands use the él/ella present form: habla, come, escribe. Eight common verbs are irregular: di, haz, ve, pon, sal, sé, ten, ven. Negative tú commands switch to the present subjunctive: no hables, no comas. Usted/ustedes commands use the subjunctive in both directions: hable, no hable. Object and reflexive pronouns attach to the end of affirmative commands (dímelo, levántate) but go before negative ones (no me lo digas, no te levantes).
