subject-pronouns
yo, tú, él, ella, usted, nosotros, vosotros, ellos, ellas, ustedes — usually omitted because the verb ending shows the person. Used for emphasis or contrast.
Examples
Hablo español.
→ I speak Spanish.
Subject pronoun dropped — verb ending -o marks first person.
Yo trabajo, tú descansas.
→ I work, you rest.
